Lost a license key? Use license recovery with your Stripe receipt email. Recovery may throttle repeated requests, but it always uses the same generic response.

Is Photanchor a Time Machine replacement?

No. Photanchor focuses on iCloud/Photos safety visibility, a second copy, and verification confidence.

Does Photanchor upload my photos?

No. Photos scans read metadata locally and do not upload, edit, delete, or organize photos.

Can it back up cloud-only files?

Not yet. Cloud-only files must be downloaded before Photanchor can copy them.

Where do I paste my license key?

Open the macOS app, choose License / Account, and paste the key into Activate license key.

Should I attach diagnostics?

Only after exporting them from the app and reviewing the JSON. Diagnostics are designed to omit paths, Photos metadata, manifests, checksums, reports, files, and photos.
